Looking
for lots of good volunteers.
Did you know that it takes about 100 parent volunteers to run a
single swim meet? Last year was the first year we required
volunteer time from our ORCA parents ... a system most other Marin Swim
League teams have adopted.
The positive results that we saw from this new system last
year were:
* more efficient meets
* more enthusiastic participation
* increased team spirit
* fewer "burned out" parents
Now's the time to start thinking about how you'd like to contribute
to the team this year. On Splash Day, we'll have poster-boards on
the wall just like last year, so you can sign up for the events that best
work with your schedule.
